The Colette x Gap Pop-Up Store is ending its month long run on NY’s 5th avenue. The store contained exclusive Colette x Gap merchandise by artists / labels like Jack Spade, Neckface, Claw Money, Repetto, Converse and more. We managed to smuggle out a few shots before we were stopped by a store employee. More pics after the jump.
We were really, really bad this week. Not only did we miss the rockin Pissed Jeans / Children Show at Glasslands for totally bogus reasons, but we left you without FUN! On a Friday no less! In penitence for this most hideous of interweb crimes, and in preparation for the upcoming Jewish holiday of atonement we present you with the following.
Go on, we’ll wait.
Tell us your entire universe isn’t rocked to the core of its foundation by the flute stylings of the vice presidential candidate of the Republican party. Bless her heart, there’s always that Jethro Tull reunion to look forward to. [Ed - Did Jethro Tull ever really leave the building? No they didn't.]
So, our loyal Admiral Stockbauer flaked at the last minute and the show at The Bell House was left without an MC. Fortunately consummate showman Gibby Haynes stepped up to the plate and introduced the Back CC’s. Thus we must call out our dear old pal, proprietor of the Long Branch Saloon and Scoot Inn in sunny Austin, TX and his Merry Band of Lawyers™.
Take us on, Stockbauer. Take us on.

The Back C.C.’s are playing 4 shows this month, two in Detroit and two in NYC. If you dig The Ramones, The Dwarves, The Hives or Guitar Wolf you will definitely be into these guys.
