Raf Simmons has teamed up with Fred Perry for this upcoming line. This will mark the end of the Fred Perry x Commes De Garçons collection (which has been retired). Raf Simmons’ capsule collection of sweaters, polos and cardigans will be taking its place and will be available at select retailers this fall.
Simons researched the Fred Perry archive—the brand was founded in 1953—and used some sleek ’60s skiwear designs as his starting point. Thus, the fall collection has a body-hugging silhouette, and is available only in black, paralleling Simons’ signature dark aesthetic. A small pop of color comes from a Fred Perry laurel wreath logo, which comes in a unique color for each item, such as royal blue, gold, white or forest green.
Here’s a look at the Fred Perry x &Son x Dover Street Market exclusive polo shirts. This collaboration is only available via Commes De Garçons house brand Dover Street Market in the UK, as part of their DSM Specials line.
